The materials
316L stainless steel
Considered a "premium" stainless steel, 316L stainless steel achieves extremely high levels of purity. It is used in the mechanical, watchmaking and medical industries.
This steel is more qualitative than silver (does not blacken) and also more expensive to purchase.
It exhibits excellent resistance in physiological environments to general corrosion.
We carry out an additional treatment called "electropolishing" on this material, which further increases its resistance and gives it an exceptional shine.
24 carat gold
The carat is a measure of the purity of precious metals such as gold, on a scale of 0 to 24. If in an alloy of 24 grams there are 24 grams of gold, then it is a 24K jewel, it i.e. pure gold.
In France, only jewelery with a minimum of 18 carats of gold can be qualified as “Gold jewellery”.
You can find great color variations in these different gold alloys and we chose 24 karat for its intense yellow.
Your bracelet is certified "gold plated" coated with the manufacturer's hallmark, becausethe brass hexagon is covered by electrolysis with a layer of 24 carat gold with a thickness of 5 microns.
Legislation imposes a minimum thickness of 3 microns to be able to benefit from the gold-plated designation on jewelry in France.
